Billy

I grew up in a family that had a strong passion for music. My dad was a singer and my uncle played lead/rythum guitar in a band that covered all the rock n' roll hits from the 50's and 60's. So my childhood was blanketed with this kind of great music. Then…I found the music that I really liked, which was 70's and 80's classic rock, and heavy metal. I picked up the bass guitar at the late age of 17, and started a band with friends, Brad Laczniak and Brian Mosley. We covered music from Metallica, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath.We never really left the basement, with the exception of playing a lot of house parties. That lasted a few years, then I took a long break. Eight years ago, I found myself surrounded by great musicians and playing in bands like, Sacred Ground, Coop de ville, The Tisdales, and Beerfish, which has lead me to playing bass and singing in this band we call… SPELLBOUND

Equipment
I like Ibenez four string basses and GHS Boomer strings. I use a Gallien-Krueger 700RB-11 head. My bass cabinets consist of a Sonic single 18 and a Sonic 4-10. I like a clean punchy sound, but own an Electro Harmonics English Muffin pedal for some great crunch if I need it. I use Sure microphones, and I like Monster cables. My lights and PA system that is used for our live shows has too many componants to list.
